Police in Vancouver say a man they say may have been involved in a fake mail box scam in Victoria sent out dozens of phony cheques this weekend to about 40카지노 사이트 people.

“We believe he took off when the mail box opened,” Insp. Kevin Poy said, adding that officers were unable to find his movements.

Poy wouldn’t reveal when the case might be solved.

A Vancouver woman who received an envelope containing an expensive house in Langley said she received the cheque Friday morning.

“He wrote ‘I need a job’,” she told CTV Vancouver.

“And I said, ‘So what’s he telling you you need?’ And he said, ‘Oh, I’m a professional.’ I didn’t even think it was a scam and then he handed me what was basically a money order saying he wanted to pay the rent for it.”

On Saturday morning, the woman left for work and picked up her car. She said the cheques and bills were then hidden from her while she drove to her house.

Victoria police asked the sender of the cheques to call them back after receiving them. He was advised that if he did not show up with a genuine note within t속초출장마사지 속초출장샵wo working days, the cheques would be returned.

The police said the cheques arrived in mailboxes around the city this weekend. They estimate about one cheque in every 100 envelopes sent to those numbers was forged.

It’s unclear if the cheques were fake but are likely more of a trick to trick the recipient and trick them into giving him money than actual mail money.

There are no limits to how much money you can make out of fake mail, but the person sending it needs to get his or her own money and the cheques cannot be for personal use.

The cheques appear to have come from an address on the Internet, but they aren’t genuine in any way, Poy said.
